I traveled to meet my beloved
heading towards the center of the country.
I sought some quiet for myself
and sat on a bench near the café
listening to the daily routine inside,
the conversations, the endless words.
A thought arose in me
about the power and strength
that lie in our thoughts
and in the ripples of words we pour
into our reality.
